Cycling
Each year, Northeast Passage runs more than 15 events to introduce people with disabilities to the options they have for cycling. Many participants have never been on a bike or have never found one that works for them. For others, it has been years since they had the opportunity to ride.
The Adaptive Cycling program offers participants the support necessary to cycle with friends and family. Northeast Passage has skilled instructors, avid cyclists of all abilities as volunteers and more than 15 different adapted cycles to fit each individual’s needs. From introductory clinics to organized group rides and equipment rental, NEP’s bikes are ridden thousands of miles each year.
Take the challenge! Join Northeast Passage for the Three Notch Century, a scenic 100 mile bike ride through the White Mountains in New Hampshire. This is your opportunity to test yourself, meet new people and raise money and awareness for Northeast Passage. Take the challenge in one day or three. This event is appropriate for both bicyclists and handcyclists.
