The Sports and Recreation program offers a spectrum of service from entry-level instruction, to ongoing recreation and competitive sports. This program provides the appropriate level of support and challenge for clients of all abilities. Northeast Passage offers ongoing programs in nine sports of particular interest to people living in New England.
In addition to the nine developed sports programs, Northeast Passage offers one “Explore Clinic” per year in a new and different activity. While these activities do not develop into ongoing programs for NEP, they serve as a resource to explore the many different options for recreation and sport available to individuals with disabilities, their friends and families. Explore Clinics offer experienced instructors, equipment and information on how to pursue the activity following the clinic. In the past, NEP has offered clinics in fencing, remote control planes, yoga and many others. weather policy... We rarely cancel an event - even if it's raining!
Northeast Passage requires pre-registration for ALL events.
If a participant does not register and attends an event, we cannot
guarantee accommodation due to limited equipment and staff/volunteer
coverage.
