Paul and Anna Grace Holloway have been among the Seacoast’s most prolific philanthropists focusing on education, children and families, environment, veterans and substance abuse prevention.  Whether through their charitable foundation, personal contributions, or serving on boards and committees, the Holloways are committed to providing support to the community when they recognize a need and never shy away from rolling up their sleeves up and putting in the hard work.

Improving education in New Hampshire has long been a priority for Paul and Anna Grace.  Paul has leveraged his business experience and acumen in his public service, chairing the University System of New Hampshire Board of Trustees, the USNH Board, the Community College System of NH and serving as a NH Lottery Commissioner.  Paul’s work with the community colleges in New Hampshire has been widely recognized for providing better pathways for students in community colleges to four-year schools.  Some of the recognitions Paul has received for his work to improve New Hampshire’s education system include an honorary doctorate from UNH, the naming of the Holloway Commons dining hall at UNH and the Holloway Auditorium among several other awards.

In 2000, the Holloway’s started the Little Harbor Foundation to support programs and projects that benefit children and youth in New Hampshire’s Seacoast area and have awarded nearly $2 million dollars to Seacoast programs.  The Little Harbor Foundation has supported Northeast Passage programs with several grants over the years.

The Holloway’s have been instrumental long-term supporters of Northeast Passage both personally and through the Little Harbor Foundation for more than a decade.  The relationship forged over this time has helped Northeast Passage develop and build programs for children, veterans and individuals with disabilities that fill gaps in services and provide opportunities to improve quality of life.
